During the month of May 2022, I purchased two BFG Radial T /A tires from Discount Tires. A few days later I noticed that the tires were not the same size as the tires as the original tires. I called and spoke with the manager and explained the problem and was told that the tire were a special order and could not be returned. The reason that the tires that I purchased were not the same size tire is due to incorrect information posted on line and including information listed from BFG. The size tire I had was a BFG Radial T/A L50 15. According to information from tire dealers, the internet and from BFG, the current size tire for the L50 15 tire is 295/50-15. The 295/50-15 tire is about three inches shorter and about two inches wider than the L50 15 and places the tire too close to the muffler and I do not feel safe with these tires. Since purchase, I have driven the car twice with a total of eight miles. I presented this information to BFG last year and never received a reply. Since BFG gave incorrect information and there is a possible safety problem, I feel that BFG should replace the tires with the correct size tire.
