Banfield Pet Hospital, History and Headquarters Information

Every pet owner desires the best for their pet. If you want your pet to live life to the fullest, then you must make sure they have access to a quality medical facility that has the smart technology to take care of all of their health needs. One of the places to go for those that want their pets to be in safe hands is Banfield Pet Hospital.

Just like in the case of humans, pets are in safe hands if the veterinary clinic has the technology and a collection of veterinary experts assembled in the clinic. There should be traces of dedication among the experts; it is the human angle required to help the pet.

Banfield Pet Hospital has more than 3,600 veterinarians who have dedicated their careers to helping pets. It was established in 1955 by Ben Peterson and Ryan Sanders. The Head Office is at WA 98682, United States of America.

I am so so disappointed in your customer service. Round a bouts when calling to cancel my plan. I literally have taken a whole day trying to get to a supervisor to pay and cancel my plan, ie. not renew. I’m ready to call the better business bureau. Will never recommend this insurance to anyone. This has nothing to do with vet office.
    Really ridiculous. Barbara King

  • Gina Hudgens-Perry says:

I took a sick rescue kitten, and they just wanted to sell me a treatment plan, and keep me coming back to pay office visits. After two visits and a diagnosis from a real vet, my husband and I went back to complain. They actually told us the kitten needed to be older and sicker for them to treat it. They didn’t even offer the appropriate test for assessing his respiratory condition! We really didn’t have the money to rescue this stray, and they completely wasted our what we had. They don’t treat sick animals. They just use them as prey for money!👎🏻

I give Banfield 0 stars!! If I could give them negative stars, I would!
Beware of ever signing up for any of the wellness plans that Banfield pushes you to enroll in! If your pet dies, and you are enrolled in a wellness plan, they will make you pay for the remainder of the plan! My sweet dog died from cancer, and when I called to cancel his wellness policy, Banfield informed me that they expect me to pay them $42.95 a month for the next 8 months!! It’s not the money…..it’s the principal!!
    This is a DESPICABLE policy!

My 2 dogs have been patients at Banfield for a few years . I’m extremely disappointed with this hospital. It’s always a hassle getting through to them by phone and getting a appointment, this last visit will be our last with them. The Supervisor said my husband was lying to me and the issue is between us and turned her seat around and proceeded to get up . Starting from the beginning of this visit on 9/12 . I called the clinic 9/11 looking to get my dog in for a allergy shot with a tech only ( Which I specifically stated multiple times . I was told no availability to call back the following day to see if anyone cancelled . I called early 9/12 and received a 3:15 appointment that I specifically stated again tech visit only . My husband called them back to reschedule due to unable to make at time and they asked him to come down now. He did. My dog was seen by the Dr and given a filled script and a bill of $170.00 . I called them after (due to I was working) and asked why he was seen when I stated tech visit only . I was told the tech stated to him he had to be seen by the Dr. because he hadn’t been seen in the last 6 months last visit 11/21 my dogs are up to on all vaccines. Not due yet for well check yet. My husband called them back to state no one stated he’d be seen by the dr. Jus the total price which he had no clue what that would have been either way. I went there after work in person and spoke with the shift supervisor (Samantha) whom was rude and stated he was lying to me and it was a issue between us . She said there was nothing she could do. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with this visit and the staffing . I’d like a response/action to be taken. This was your Woburn Massachusetts hospital. Very disappointed customer Michele Valente
