5220 N Harlem Chgo – Manager treated customers like dirt. Barked at staff Food was cold. Bathroom was dirty, had no towels for cleaning your hands.
Don’t go here
I visited Bakers Square in Schererville,IN , the food had to be sent back twice and when it cam back it was still wrong, the manager Jamie set with her friends the entire time we where there not one time did she come over to see what was wrong, my take out order was wrong when I was speaking to Jamie the waitress Alli jump in our conversation I politely told her I was speaking to the manager her statement to me was”I am just going to walk away because I am not ignorant” speaking to Jamie I asked her was she going to allow her to speak to me that way Jamie stated “ I’m just the manager”, I in turned told Jamie now if I cuss her out I would be wrong Jamie stated “no” Alli walked passed me and flicked her hand and told me to shut up and leave yes I went off now her come Nikki running from the back and stated this is my restaurant and you have to leave, the problem with this entire situation was the manager Jamie was not doing her job by sitting with her friend discussing a up coming wedding and when people complain about the service nothing is never done to the rude staff and the staff knows this.
Bakers Square, Ford Parkway, St. Paul, closed permanently today with people still eating. Once we were out your manager would not let us use our gift card to buy a pie. I feel this gift card and others like it were sold falsely if you were closing. And this place was always busy. It should have stayed open. As were all your other Bakers Squares in the St. Paul area. Very bad ownership/management.
Please reopen Baker Square in Naperville, Illinois on Route 59. The building an sign is still there. Everyone would love to see this business reopen. Thank you.
Today was the second time I tried curbside service and ended up having to go into the store to get my order. When I asked the young lady behind the counter about it, she lethargically said, “We try to look out for them. Sometimes we get them.” I not only arrived on time for my order I was in a bit of a hurry. I’m finding out that this young lady’s service attitude is pretty exemplary of that shitty store at 2239 Ford Parkway. I’m planning on telling everyone within earshot to avoid it like the plague.
there is one of your restaurants in Des Moines, IA that needs air conditioner fixed! 3 months and not fixed. Take care of your workers and establishments. I am sure you are all sitting in your fine offices with air going !!
P L E A S E P L E A S E BRING BACK YOUR FANTASTIC STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE PIE ! !
Baker Square has definitely gone down hill. The restaurant we went to, was old, it smelled, the bathrooms was gross/gross . The toilet and urinal was not clean. The food made my family sick and we still paid $85.00.
Yesterday I visited your Palatine IL store to purchase a French Silk pie as a birthday “cake”, I pulled to the unplowed snow covered curb in the store’s parking lot, parked activated my trucks hazard flashers and entered the restaurant to make the purchase. I was warmly greeted with “you can’t park there”, I asked if they wanted me to leave, the gentleman said no but in the future you can’t park there, I’m not sure but at the ripe old age of 69 with 40+ years in Law Enforcement and 23 years in Firefighting I know where I can park to spend 2 minutes picking up a pie. Well, I did make the purchase and we did cut the pie in celebration and found the chocolate Silk was grainy not Silk, I do not know if the pie was frozen, thawed and refrozen or what happened to it,,, a total disappointment.
Treated rudely on phone by alleged manager at palatine, IL bakers square he rushed to give his name, told me I was “pissing him off” , how dare he, I want someone to call me back

I visited on of your restaurant today. One of your employees called me a liar and was VERY rude.
Mr. Tim Kanaky! What happened to my favorite pies! Banana Cream Pie and Strawberry whip cream pie are my favorites. At first I though it was Covid causing this. I’m very disappointed you changed the pie menu! Thank you.
We have been going to Bakers Square since it opened.
We have always loved the food and the servers.
What has happened to that restaurant?

We did see any of the regular servers.
The food was terrible we had 4 at our table and nothing tasted the same.
We spent $50 at the table and we all gave it a 2 out of 10.
Chicken tenders were terrible over cooked , the green beans had a smoke taste, the mashed potato’s were lumpy and little gravy on it I asked for gravy on the side.
3 of us had that meal.
They never made my nephews meal so they did make it after ours came.
My other nephew at our table had the honey mustard chicken and he said the sauce was not the same.
The appearance of the manager and servers were not up to your regular standards.
They even turned a couple away when they came in at 7:50.
I don’t usually write complaints but this was somewhere we will not come back too.
Which is sad because we have for years.
You had some wonderful servers at this location and great food.
What a change and not a good one.
Another change of getting rid of a lot of the pies and the tuna sandwich !
With this COVID we are all fighting to survive but you should always take care of your loyal customers and new customers .
We just had to let you know because Bakers Square WAS one of our favorites.
Will Bakers Squares ship Pies to California?
Your store closed on Western Ave. in Chicago. I have an idea, you should look on Bryn Mawr in the North Park area and open a pie only pick up and just keep the resturaunt on Foster and Harlem. I think this will be a very profitable move for you. I am a resident of the North Park neighborhood I am not a real estate agent. With North Part Univ. and North Eastern Univ. are just a couple of perks of the this neighborhood.
