I have a couple of Avast programs and renewing one of them I was charged twice and nothing I have been able to do has gotten me beyond definitive “go away Jughead”. I had the bank contact someone, I had paid with my debit card. They got pretty much the same brush off that I received, i.e, that who ever had entered the data with Avast and arranged payment evidently had all the right answers and Avast declined to go any father. The situation: Apr 22 was signing up for one of the Avast programs and did so and put my band #s in, I saw on my monitor where it was recorded at the bank ; a couple minutes later another charge for same, same price but this time split up thusly $53.91 and seconds later $5.38.
The first charge was $59.29 a side line comment that yippee we have give you a special price. I assumed one of the charges would be changed. No. I didn’t have luck and the bank didn’t either and I’m stuck until one or the other of the programs until renewal at which time my intent is to stop every one of the Avast programs in my computer and/or have all of them needed be reorganized and placed in one bundle with recurring update done each year . . . . not one, not two, not ten but one $amount for the whole bunch. My comment is – NO, I WILL NOT RENEW this LICENSE – And I want to quit away from AVAST Here and NOW.
Any serious person there to HELP me out of this big problem – Thank You Please
