I am in need of sheep and goat field fence, 48 inch tall by 330 feet long. So, I call Tractor supply because they have better customer service. While I am on hold my wife calls Atwood’s in Shawnee, because she seen7 rolls available on line and wanted to confirm. Your employee answered the phone, put her on hold while he checked on it, came back and politely told her yes they do have 7 rolls. I hung up with Tractor Supply and my wife placed a curb side order with Shawnee Atwood’s for 3 of the 7 rolls of fence available. It is 620 pm and I hook the trailer up and head to your store, on my way there Tractor Supply called to confirm they had 4 rolls of fence, never thought they would call back. Upon arrival to Atwood’s I learn-there is no wire to be had. Imagine my shock when I viewed it on line, called the store to confirm before placing order, what else could I have done? Now I am told that they can refund my credit card but it will take 7-14 days to get it back. I explained that this would not work, and is not right. I asked Dawn, the assistant manager, to call Atwood’s in Norman and see if it was available there which she did, and it was available. Now is where the real problem starts. They cannot figure out how to transfer the order from store to store. I waited 2 hours at the front of the store, steaming. However, I did take nice videos and pictures of your employees making fun of customers, playing around with merchandise, and disconnecting customer calls. Dawn finally told me to cancel the order, which is impossible because it shows complete. I ended up with a refund to my card(7-14 day wait), no wire, and really upset with your service. I have contemplated sharing my Atwood’s customer smack downs on Social media and local news so all in the community and or world knows about how customers are treated first hand and when not in store, but wanted to give this a try first. Your employees need training in ethics and professionalism. I need my wire and T-post for my trouble and time, and you do not need bad press. I am sure I will get enough views on Social media to cover my expenses and time. If you want to validate the transaction last night here is my order #002851482. It also has my information on it if you chose to reach out. Your employees are a direct reflection on leadership, as a manager myself, I found this embarrassing, and distasteful.
