Berkeley, MI location-Where should I start? On my daughter’s second lesson she almost drowned because the instructor turned her back on her. She was not remorseful and nor did she seem to care of the incident. The manager said should would handle the situation and the next day the same young man with pink hair was still taking on students. I was assured the situation would be handled and even after she reviewed cameras in which it was confirmed she left my daughter alone, no reprimand besides a slap on the hand. On another account a young lady by the name of Carissa pretended she cared but laughed and had a rude and disregarding remark once me and my children walked out on our next visit. They gave my kids a free snack from the counter like thay would suffice for the trauma my daughter endured with no type of accommodations. We have had 5 lessons in total with my son having 3 and my daughter attending 2. Out of that 7 lessons that should have taken place where not refunded and no reply to my email as well even though they have been responsive to everything I have called or emailed about before. When I have watched the instructors they don’t seem to be very attentive to the children who are of color. Not only did they make me uncomfortable, but nothing was corrected, returned, or acknowledged by this facility. If you decide to go here I would not recommend this location and unless you are going to watch the instructors as well as your child like a hawk! Choose wisely because this could be your child life in their hands. Horrible experience for myself and my children.
