I’m glad anchor hocking is here in the USA, and I love the products. With that being said, anchor hocking is one of the worse places I ever worked. The supervisor one day shift has her favorites, the line leaders don’t want to release you to go to bathroom. The employees in packing and set up are treated horribly and your worked worse than I’ve ever had to work. I will never recommend anyone to work there, and head quarters wonder why employees won’t stay very long. So so sad.
Betty, I can only imagine the horrible working experience you had working at a company that has EXPLODING pie plates!!!! This happened to me on October 15, 2023. I had family staying with me from Connecticut and Washington and it took 3 adults 3 hours of intense and meticulous cleanup. I was 5 feet away from the explosion and flying glad which traveled in every direction for 12 feet. We had to throw away tons of getting prepared food that was on the counter tops, stove top, and kitchen table. I have called the 800 number twice with absolutely NO response. Come to find out in reading online that this happens frequently! How is there no law suits against this company? I am looking into doing just that. Injury from exploding and flying glass could be devastating… punctures, cuts, blindness! I’m disgusted by their no response to this matter. I won’t let this go.
Anchor Hocking has the worst costumer service department in the USA , not answering the phone and transferring our calls while we wait on the line to a voice mail . I wish I had never bought from you.
Never Again , my glass Jar heritage had no silicone seal on the lid like the picture on the web .
