Temperatures vary during the summer and winter weather every year. In the manufacturing sector, goods must be kept at a particular temperature in warehouses if the quality of the goods is to be retained during the period of storage. Smart CEOs must deploy clinical temperature control devices in their storage barns. Americold is one of the big players that has what it takes to deliver the right temperature in warehouses.
The food industry in particular must put in place a clinical device that will control the temperature in the warehouse. Some dairy products must be kept at zero degrees. There are other food items that require higher temperature ranges in order to retain their quality.

AmeriCold Sioux City Iowa is the most toxic place to work. There are arguments and fighting not physical. But threats of physical harm everyday nothing is ever done about any of it. You report it to supervisors who pass it along to our plant manager Matt who will do nothing about it just interview us get our sides and let it happens again and again. And I’m sick of the favoritism. And it’s putting a lot of unwanted stress on my marriage. Because of the mood I come home in. And the turn over rate is insane and it’s do to the toxic work environment there. And I’m tired of not getting any answers I’ve applied for supervisor at plant one as soon as I heard they needed a third one my supervisor Cody talked to Matt it sounded like I was going to get it then nothing. I have every skill that is needed to be a supervisor. I can do everything in the building from high lift to prep to loading trucks and I can put away. I understand how the systems work. Then I don’t here anything back and they pulled down the open supervisor position at plant one 2nd shift. I’m honestly feed up at this point the only thing that would make it better is get the toxic environment under control. And make sure everything is fixed wrappers and tippers are always broke they never fix anything lifts malfunction constantly and we had one slam into a wall it wouldn’t stop even with the emergency stop. And yet still all our equipment is broken all the time. It’s ridiculous. So if anyone reads these please do something here in Sioux city Iowa plant one 2nd shift. Oh and days always steals our stuff I got new bibbs and coat hoodie and hat it got stolen the second day I got them and no one has done anything about it and it’s happened to several employees. Not just me.
I work for Americold Edison..Building is poorly run..Several machines are down.Been down for weeks.The place is a joke!
The americold in Savannah isn’t operating properly. The H. R department is a joke. What supposed to be private is not.The supervisors try to intimidate the workers. We as lower staff are digging for help and if someone doesn’t reach out from corporate we are looking for other means of action.. We shouldn’t have to have our jobs threaten as lack of poor leadership..Starting with the GM.
