    I am a recent employee of the Williamsburg Virginia store. I have never worked for a more incompetent business in my life. No disciplinary action taken when an Assistant Manager walks out in the middle of her shift, leaving other employees to extend their workday because she was supposed to close that day. This should be a fire able offence. Preferential treatment to certain customers while turning away other customer’s because there is never a manager on duty. The assistant manager works a total of 4 days a week and one of those is a no doctor day. Certain employees have to pick up the slack because management calls out at least once a week. I worked there for a month and the assistant manager never worked a full week. It is a shame because there are employees that bust their butts to provide good customer service. When a customer comes in and they are told that there is no manager on duty and that customer goes off on the employee demanding that we call the assistant manager on her day off and starts listing names because she obviously has relationship with management and we cow tow to that customer while other customer’s are left hanging it is just wrong. I cannot believe that a company is okay with this kind of behavior.

      Ive purchased glasses from the Horseheads, NY location a few times and I have to say their Customer Service skills are lacking for sure.

    Service is absolutely horrible. And they don’t disclose all the conditions that come with getting contacts. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. I’ve been on hold for 5 minutes with a rude nasty person who thinks I’m going to hang up. She came back to phone and said she’s transferring me to Jessica and hung up.

    I feel betrayed by The Atlanta Georgia store on North Druid Hills Road. I used my Humana Medical insurance and the glasses I selected cost the ENTIRE Humana amount that was available for purchase. I’m a 66 yo senior and US Army Veteran. Shame on you America Best…change your name. I eg to differ.

    Hello

    I recently visited one of your stores because I had an eye exam. The store is located at 1971 E Beltline NE Grand Rapids MI 49525. The store has a wide array of glasses. Unfortunately the decor looks outdated. I think the store needs a fresh look done by professionals. There is a company in Grand Rapids that does good work. I looked at their portfolio and from what I saw, I feel confident, they can make it happen. The name of the company is Paradigm Design and it’s located at 415 Leonard Street Suite 200 Grand Rapids MI 49504. They do have a nice website that shows the quality of workmanship in some of their projects. I feel confident they will do all the required research to give this store and others a fresh new look.
