The worst company I have dealt with so far at least on a local level, hoping that the corporate can fix the reputation and the issues on this property. No one takes responsibility for what needs to be done, starting with the property manager and trinkels down the chain every everybody passing the buck and nobody wants to do their job up.
Signed lease last week. Upon moving in discovered black mold in the shower (brand new house) and halted move in. We’ve been trying for several days to get answers and have yet to have any. Trying to remain calm and cordial with this company but feel that we’re just getting the run around.
Be far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Will not respond to emails and will not accept phone calls.
I agree! I pay almost $3000/mo for rent and unable to make online rent payments. My account was locked 5 months ago without explanation. I have contacted AH4R numerous times to no avail.

Worst company. Their communication is terrible. Sent me a approval letter by email and then 1 week letter told me the house was already leased to somebody else and my application was denied. Never got any email stating that I was denied nor a phone call. Should I take legal action?
My GF rents from this miserable company in florida, She had a HVAC break and flood, She had major black mold in duct work that HVAC tech had told them year prior was there, had a active water leak in walls for weeks, meanwhile she is pregnant and breathing this mold, we lived in hotel for over a month and paid out of our own pockets, we were told we would be reimbursed for this and now they put us on do not renew list, trying to evict us while we try to get our credits settled and have been responsive the entire time pushing them to get work done, and also the day we returned to the home received a vacate notice to leave property. had to have fetal mold testing done and has made this a miserable pregnancy’s and Tracy in Florida is useless in response to work orders and issues and very rude and inconsiderate in dealing with a family out of their home living in a hotel. company says they care about their tenants but they don’t, Paul in Florida shows up makes promises and then never to be heard from again. how can AH4R say they care for tenants and then treat them this way. now we agree to losing over 4k and still they wont attach a current ledger to settlement and wont remove us off DNR list as if we are the bad guys DO NOT RENT FROM THEM
Flooring was not installed correctly and property manager knew of this at the time of move in on October, 2020. I made several contacts since then and after months they responded and has made several work orders but have yet ti complete job because they don’t want to pay for it. The floors are getting worse throughout the house. It is now Feb, 2022. I called corporate in December 2021 and after that they refused to pay my gas bill, causing my gas to be shut off. I got sick from freezing all night and my three grandchildren all got sick, too. My husband couldn’t go to work the next day because he had trouble sleeping from freezing all night and couldn’t take a shower. I called management and still they did nothing. I spoke to an attorney who is willing to take this legally.
Cleared my house November 12 – received that my deposit was being refunded December 14. No sight of the refund check. Done multiple escalations. Property manager has changed 3 times since giving my notice in September. No district manager available, no regional manager available. Guess time to get legal involved. Would love for someone to reach out from Corporate.
