I am not happy in how I was scammed by the All My Sons.
I called on. Nov 10th. I was told i needed to give $100 deposit to hold date. If i changed my mind over weekend , Monica said she would call and check and give me back deposit if not using them. She called but I have never received my deposit back after 11 days.
Emailed, no response. I tried calling they never answered. Set up appt on line and bingo, they called in 5 seconds! Samantha said I see you cancelled. I told I wanted my deposit back. She said wait again.
What is going on? They took it out quickly but now 12 days…..Scammers!!! Do not trust them!
The movers at the St. Louis location were incredibly unqualified, we had to call and complain while they were packing my brothers apartment. There was also pile of trash bags, the movers were throwing in the dumpster. One of those bags was boxed, taped up, and moved to my home. My home stunk as if something had died in it. We contacted our builder thinking it was the pipes in our basement. Nope, my husband found the box. When I called to complain, and to see what can be done the manager blew it off. He acted as though we taped a box of trash up. He was not friendly and laughed. He was an absolute joke.
Pleased overall with the movers and with the sales person – they are not to blame. I am not happy however with the business practices once the final bill came due. We were quoted one price, seemed low but went with it. Paid the 400 deposit to hold the date. At the end of the move, the movers called corporate to get the balance, was told 700 more than initial quote for TOTAL amount of move and the deposit was to be applied. We negotiated the price and met in the middle to 2200, the TOTAL amount and the 400 deposit would be applied. The company did apply the amount but at 2600. After talking with the manager, Terry, he kept repeating his position and not listening that one of HIS employees, Quinn, agreed to lowering the bill. Totally unfair and underhanded. Will never use this company again, I am moving again in 4 weeks.
This rating is for the Columbus Ohio location. The movers were extremely inexperienced. They had no idea how to dismantle my log bed. My neighbor had to come over and help them.
They damaged my furniture. My son had to help unload the truck because of the movers goofing off and taking their time costing me money. I was quoted $1823.00 and they charged my credit card $3027.00. I called and complained to the general manager Jarrod Bird. He told me he would credit my credit card $500 which I have not received. I have not received an itemized bill yet which I have asked for 3 times. This is the worst experience I have ever had. This is an unprofessional company and the general manager needs to be fired as well as the movers. I expect someone in corporate to honor the $500 refund to my credit card and email me the itemized bill.
