Adams Homes in McDonough, Georgia are crooks. Home was to be completed in November 2021. As of March 2022 they had not yet started to build. They then emailed
us to cancel the contract after they breached contract for timeliness to increase price of the new construction as market rates increased. They cancelled the contract and kept the earnest money and will not return money to the buyer. Lilith, Judy and Alison
are the worst and unprofessional representation that a company can ever have. Adams Homes is AWFUL 😣 and thieves and hard up for money.
Worst home builders and even worse customer service. We moved our house in April 2021. After we had our refrigerator delivered we discovered that the foundation is uneven. On top of that we have about 20 cracked tiles all over the kitchen. We’ve been at them for almost a year and a half to redo our kitchen. They keep giving us the runaround about trying to find new tiles to replace the broken ones. Finding a matching color and lot is probably not going to happen. We need the foundation repaired and the whole floor redone. They always seem to have an excuse as to why nothing has been done to fix this issue. We shouldn’t be dealing with this on a new build 18 months after we originally made the warranty claim. They are a poor company and I would not recommend buying a home built by them. There is a reason why they have such a poor rating on Google reviews.
I would not buy from them again. Having ongoing issues with water run off which has caused unsafe condition on sidewalk. They refuse to do anything about it. Rude and arrogant general manager. Was informed that our home was built on wetlands. Now water is ” our ” problem. I have a blind daughter who cannot safely walk down the side walk. Learned of other issues around the building of adams homes. Buyer beware.
Terrible interior cabinets, countertops and sinks. Worse than most apartments. I have one that is six years old and there is no comparison.
