About Ac Moore, History and Headquarters Information
The first store of A.C. Moore was incorporated by Jack Parker in 1985 in Moorestown, New Jersey. Back then in the late 90s, it was preferred as a shopping destination for the parents who always wished their children to participate and be more active than just being glued to the TV or video games. They held seven days a week class, where they taught oil painting, cake decorating, advanced stamping, and making bows to children.
Ac Moore is a retailer company of arts, crafts, and floral merchandise to numerous areas in the eastern United States. It has art and scrapbooking items, traditional and fashion crafts, floral and floral accessories, home decor and frames, and seasonal items for children and adults, which can be purchased online from its web site, acmoore.com.
Along with custom framing, it also has In-store events and programs for children and adults to provide hands-on arts and crafts experience in order to motivate the art and innovation of their clients. Its stores are widely spread from Maine to Florida in the USA with more than 140 stores. Its services, pricing, and convenience set it apart from its competitors.
I have been shopping at A.C. Moore for many years. I love the A.C. Moore brand yarn. With the stores closing, I am SICK!!!!! Why, why, why????????? I live in Nashua NH and I love our store.
Shame on corporate for closing all A.C. Moore stores
I’m writing again to suggest how your company know how you can improve your customer service.
Please, have enough staff to man the check-out counters.
I frequent your store but 9 out of 10 times, the wait to check out is enough to walk out. I’ve done this. It’s not that you have a lot of customers, it’s because you don’t place enough personnel to take care of the customers.
Also, you don’t carry ‘off the shelf’ open back frames for paintings (canvas). Not everyone is in need of custom framing. Some of us paint prolifically & donate framed art to charities. To custom frame is not what we need.
A little ‘professional’ training would be good for most of your personnel, too. Non smiling, curt check-out people don’t do well in any business. Take some lessons from ‘Publix’ store people. They are customer oriented.
I see discounts for teachers, students and military. wanna give a good reason why your chincy company doesn’t give discounts to seniors? oh, wait because you’d loose too much profit as seniors make up about half your patrons. Michael’s gives senior discount, guess that’s my new go to craft store. you don’t list an email address or a phone #. makes suspicious of your company. the website SUCKS.
It has been close to three days that your site has been down. Needless to say it has been frustrating. I would very much a follow up on when your site will be up and running. I checked facebook many have the same complaint.
